Common questions
- Does my CSV actually stay in my browser?
- Yes. Cleared parses the file client-side with JavaScript. Open your browser's Network tab while uploading. You'll see no upload request fired. We store nothing about your orders.
- What Shopify export format do I use?
- The default. From your Shopify admin: Orders → Export → Orders by date → Plain CSV file. We need at minimum the Name, Created at, Total, Payment Method, and Shipping Zip columns. All included by default.
- How is the risk score calculated?
- Deterministic rules, not a black-box ML model. Eight stacked signals (payment, pincode tier, blacklist, value band, first-time, hour, phone, address) contribute additively. Every flag shows you exactly why it triggered.
- What's the catch?
